Lighting pole saving our souls

Lightling pole (réverbères) will be used in Toronto to create a city-wide Wi-Fi network.
The same idea is already implemented in Philadelphia.

From now, you'll be able to read Le Réverbère near a lighting pole near you..

En vrac: Trexy and Call Genie

Trexy (http://trexy.com/) is a search engine wrapper that allows recording "trails" (query words plus visited pages) made by users. When querying Trexy, you find those trails and can decide to follow them or create new ones. Supposed to save time.. time will say.

Call Genie (http://www.callgenie.ca/home.asp) is an internet company that fronts its service on your phone. Simply dial their number, ask for a yellow pages topic and you should receive the listing and route to the nearest provider. Call Genie answer a real, huge and promising problem: locating businesses near you. However, they choosed a battlefield: phone + voice recognition. Other major player (like this one called Google) are ready to offer the same service but in a slightly different way (e.g.: Google Map + Google SMS).
